FAQ

What size Lifegard LED do I need for a 55 or 75 gallon tank?

Standard 55 and 75 gallon aquariums are 48" long, so choose the 48" light.

What size fits a 40 gallon breeder?

A 40 breeder is 36" long, so the 36" light fits. Its brackets extend to 42".

Is this light good for planted tanks?

Yes. It is designed for freshwater planted aquariums. The full spectrum 9000K mix works well for most low- and medium-light plants.

Does it have a night mode?

Yes. The touch switch cycles between Full Spectrum, Lunar Blue and Off, so you can set a gentle moonlight mode in the evening.

Can I hang it instead of using the brackets?

Yes. Each light includes adjustable metal brackets, plastic stands and hanging clips, so you can mount it on the rim or hang it above the tank.
