What warranty does it have?

2-year limited warranty to the original purchaser against leaks caused by a manufacturing defect. Cosmetic damage (including crazing), modifications, perimeter-only support, and third-party equipment are not covered.

Can I get this size customized?

Yes. TRUVU builds custom rectangular acrylic aquariums up to 96" long × 36" wide × 36" tall. Request pricing through the custom aquarium quote form. Custom fabrication usually takes 4–6 weeks; lead times are estimates, not guaranteed. Custom tanks are quoted separately, do not get free freight, and are not eligible for return or refund once production has started or the order has shipped.

Why acrylic instead of glass?

TRUVU tanks are 100% cell cast acrylic with solvent-bonded seams. Acrylic is about 17 times more impact resistant than glass, much lighter, and insulates better for steadier water temperature. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass, but scratches can be polished out with an acrylic scratch removal kit.
